NRIAHL News!

MSCCC takes control of first place with another dominate performance. They beat Vescera Law 7-3, scoring five goals in the first period. Paul Liberty scored the hat trick and an assist, while John Carey had two goals and Chad Labstie had three assists. #12 had a goal and an assist, and #9 and #3 each scored for The Law.

Pitcher’s Pub and Manny’s battled to a 2-2 tie. Tom Gaboreault scored both goals and Matt Connell and #7 picked up assists for The Pub, while Brian Roman and #7 each scored for Manny’s. Both goalies Campy and Mike Schiavone were very strong between the posts.

401 Consulting beat Manville Pizza 4-3 after trailing 3-0. Rob Shiavone played spectacular in net, stone walling The Pizza after allowing the first three goals. Chris Hammond and Keith Kranelius each scored two goals for The Consultants. J.W. Preston picked up a Bobby Orr type goal from the point for The Pizza. (Ha ha ha Haa ha!)

Behind two goals and two assists by #8 and a goal and an assist by #13, Vescera Law beat Pitcher’s Pub 5-3.

MSCCC whipped Manville Pizza 9-3. Steve Owens picked up the hat trick and an assist, and Paul Praderio had two goals and three assists, while Mike Reindeau had three assists. The Pizza went with a wooden goalie as Mike Dussault was on sabbatical.

In the late game, Manny’s beat 401 Consulting 4-3. #8 led the way with two goals and an assist. Dan Dussault had a goal and an assist for The Consultants.

Manville Pizza, with a balanced attack, took soul possesion of first place in the 6-4 win over Manny’s. Marc Dione had two goals, and Eric Governo and John Peterson each had a goal and two assists. Pete Sanchione scored all four goals for the losers.

With a hat trick by new “Grampy”, Keith Kreanelis, 401 Consulting knocks off Vescera Law 5-0. Dan Dussault had a goal and two assists, and Rob Schiavone recorded the shutout.

The late game proved to be spectacular when Gary “Showtime” Myers scored the game winner with 23 seconds remaining. What made it most miraculous was the fact he played the entire game with a broken blade on one of his skates. The final score had Pitcher’s Pub beating MSCCC 3-1.

Winter begins!

MSCCC’s #9 picks up two goals, both assisted by #15, and #14 scores one and assists on another, in the 4-3 victory over 401 Consulting.

Manville Pizza’s John Peterson scores twice, while Eric Governo scores and assists on three other goals, in the 5-3 win over Pitcher’s Pub.

Both Manny’s and Vescera Law score a goal in each period, leading to the 3-3 tie. Tim Sheehan scores in his first game back from knee rehab.

Winter 2010 Season Approaches

So you’ve heard from your new Captain, and you’re ready for the winter hockey season to start this Friday. The cost for this 27 game regular season, and single elimination playoffs is $475.00. The First 100.00 Payment is due this Friday. Please see “Rocko” and “Bruno”, if you will be unable to make your scheduled payment this Friday.

Also, please make a note of the schedule. There are four bye weeks. NO HOCKEY, Friday, November 5th, Friday, December 24th, Friday, December 31st and Friday, January 14th. To print your teams schedule, select schedule, then select your team name, then select go and then select print. Good Luck, we’re all counting on you.

Summer Playoff Finals

Breaking News! Vescera Law defeats Pitcher’s Pub 4-1 to win The NRIAHL Summer 2010 Championship! Congrats and well deserved. Vice President of The League, Mike Dussault, JR, said it was a great win for Vescera. He said, the rest of the league fought the law and the law won. The Trophy was carried all over the ice and The Champions were “out of cotrol”.

Bill Vescera ignites Vescera Law to the 3-2 win propelling The Law into the Sunday Night 6PM final. Picher’s Pub does a wipping on Manville Pizza led by Steve Sullivan and Matt Connell.

Rick Votta scores a spectacular goal leading Bud Lite in the upset tie with Manville Pizza. Keith Kraunelis scores a natural hat trick in the third to lead Pitcher’s Pub to the 4-3 upset over Manny’s. Vescera Law, behind stellar goaltending and three seperate players scoring two goals each, beats MSCCC 7-2 in the late game.

Tonight at 8:20 Vescera Law hosts Bud Lite, and at 9:30 Pitcher’s Pub will host Manville Pizza.

The Championship game is at 6:00 on Sunday Night.

Playoff Preview

Eric Governo and Glenn Perron lead Manville Pizza in the come from behind victory, propelling The Pizza into First Place just as the season ends.

MSCCC stays red hot led by Nate, Gary and Rich LaPlante, knocking Manny’s out of first place.

Pitcher’s Pub, under the leadership of Ray Hebert and Steve Sullivan, beat Bud Lite.

Playoffs are this coming weekend, and the winter season begins September 10th. There are only a small handful of roster spots available for the winter season, so if you desire to play you need to let President James Gallagher know ASAP.

Playoff hockey, it doesn’t get any better than this. Keep it clean, and give your very best…your very best!
